Steam heating pipes are installed inside the rotary drum dryer. The heating pipes run through the whole dryer, which arranged 1 to 3 rings in a manner of concentric circles. The heat required by dryer is from steam heating pipes and it is an indirect continuous dryer.

The heating pipes rotate along with the drum shell. Material into the dryer is raised and stirred by heating pipes and dried by the heat from heating pipes. With the help of the gradient of the drier, material from the heating port move to discharging outlet and then is discharged from the discharging outlet. The secondary steam in the material enters into the tail gas treatment system from the exhaust port, and then when the dust entrainment is removed, it is evacuated or collecting solvent. For conditions of inflammable, flammable and easily oxidized, inert gas closed circulation can be applied.

It is applicable for large handling capacity, continuous drying material, such as: gypsum, HDPE, PTA, POM, melamine amide, vinyl chloride, ABS resin, copper flavor powder, ferrum flavor powder, nickel flavor powder, lead flavor powder and other non-viscous slag, coal powder, coke powder and ammonium sulfate, ammonium nitrate, urea, calcium magnesium phosphate and other inorganic fertilizer.
